Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a 7.5 T Home Delivery Driver in Southampton to deliver household white goods and support customers in their homes. The role involves heavy lifting, installation training, and maintaining high safety standards throughout daily routes.

You will work Tue–Sat, 6am start, with long 10-hour days. A valid HGV 7.5T licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card are required. DHL offers pension, GP access, and discounts as part of the benefits package.

• Holds HGV 7.5T Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Capable of heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
• Safe driving and adherence to road regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver household white goods to customers’ homes.
• Complete installations related tasks as required.
• Follow safety procedures and vehicle regulations at all times.
• Represent DHL Supply Chain professionally with a can-do attitude.
• Work as part of a team to ensure timely deliveries.

Pay Rate: £39,985.02

Grade: CA

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Tuesday to Saturday, 6am - 10 hour days

Location: Southampton, SO53 4ND

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• You will be delivering household white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge freezers etc...
• Wets installation training will be provided as this will be required in customers homes.
• There will be alot of heavy lifting involved in this role
• Be an Ambassador for DHL Supply Chain, have a Can Do, Right First Time and Passionate approach to your role
• Enjoy working as part of a successful team
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

this Role Would Suit People Who

• Hold a valid HGV 7.5T Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Will take on newly qualified drivers
