Job summary

Wolseley is seeking a Delivery Driver 32T based in Milton Keynes on the night shift. You will deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses, uphold excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

The role is full-time, 45 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £46,637.50 plus bonus and excellent benefits, including pension and health schemes, and discounts.

Qualifications

• A full, Class 1 HGV licence.
• Up to date knowledge of digital tachographs.
• Driver CPC.
• Experience with digital technology (e.g., handheld devices).
• Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all times.
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Carrying out daily vehicle, equipment and load checks for health and safety.
• Working with the transport team and transport administration.

As a HGV Driver based in Milton Keynes youll be responsible for:

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes


• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time


• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand


• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects


• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration


• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday on the night shift

• Experience of using, or comfortable with learning, digital technology, i.e. handheld devices.
