Job summary

Wolseley Group in Measham is seeking a Delivery Driver 18T plus to join our team. You will deliver a wide range of items to diverse addresses, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold Wolseley standards across routes.

The role requires a Class 2 HGV licence, CPC, and familiarity with digital tachographs and handheld devices. You will work Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with benefits including health and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 HGV licence.
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital tachographs.
• Driver CPC.
• Experience with digital handheld devices.
• Confident interacting with customers and suppliers to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Offer excellent customer service at all times.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and Wolseley brand ambassadors.
• Carry out daily vehicle, equipment and load checks and report defects for Health & Safety compliance.
• Support loading/unloading at customers' premises when required.

As a HGV Driver based in Measham you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
