Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited in Milton Keynes is recruiting a full‑time Delivery Driver (32T) on the night shift to join our busy transport operation. You will deliver a wide range of items to customer addresses, provide outstanding service, unload and load where needed, complete pre‑shift checks, and work closely with the driving team and transport admin.

A full, Class 1 HGV licence, knowledge of digital tachographs, Driver CPC and comfort with handheld devices are required; in return you’ll enjoy a

• Driver CPC
• Comfortable with learning digital technology/handheld devices
• Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

As a HGV Driver based in Milton Keynes you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time

This is a full‑time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday on the night shift

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• A full, Class 1 HGV licence
• Up to date knowledge of digital tachographs
• Driver CPC
• Experience of using, or comfortable with learning, digital technology, i.e. handheld devices.
• Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships
