Job summary

Burdens and Fusion Utilities, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Driver HGV (C) to cover Cambridge area. You will operate 16–32 tonne rigid wagons, perform multi-drop deliveries of civils materials, and unload on-site using a hiab. You may assist with branch duties as required.

Working hours are full-time, 45 hours weekly, 7:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends. A hiab and forklift licenses are desirable, and prior HGV experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hiab license desirable.
• Previous HGV driving experience required/desired.
• Forklift license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 16–32 tonne rigid lorry around the Cambridge area.
• Deliver civils materials to building sites with multi-drop deliveries.
• Unload vehicles at site using a hiab.
• Assist in other branch tasks when not delivering.

Role Responsibilities

• Driving a 16 tonne, 24 tonne or 32 tonne rigid lorry around the Cambridge area
• Delivering civils materials to other building sites across the area, involved in multi-drop deliveries
• Unloading the vehicles at the building site using a hiab
• Assisting in other areas of the branch once back from deliveries if required

Working Hours

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7:00am - 5:00pm. No weekend working!

Candidate Requirements

• A hiab license is desirable
• Previous HGV driving experience
• A forklift license is desirable
