Job summary

Wolseley Group’s Burdens and Fusion Utilities division in Cambridge is recruiting a full-time HGV driver to support civil deliveries. You’ll operate a rigid lorry, complete multi-drop runs around the Cambridge area, and unload at sites using a Hiab when required.

The role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work, daytime shifts, and a competitive benefits package including annual leave, a matched pension, bonus potential, healthcare, and Cycle to Work.

Qualifications

• A HGV driving license and prior HGV driving experience are preferred.
• A hiab license is desirable.
• A forklift license is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 16–32 tonne rigid lorry around the Cambridge area and perform multi-drop deliveries.
• Unload the vehicles at the building site using a Hiab.
• Assist at the branch when not delivering.
