Burdens, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting an HGV Driver for Nottingham. You will drive 26t vehicles with hiab, perform pre-delivery checks and handle loading/unloading for multi-drop deliveries to customer sites.

This full-time role is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. Benefits include annual leave, a matched pension up to 9%, optional bonuses, healthcare access, Cycle to Work, and staff discounts.

Qualifikationen

• Previous HGV driving experience is essential.
• A class 2 license, digital tachograph card and CPC training are essential.
• A hiab license is essential.
• Ability to operate a crane.
• Merchant experience is desirable but not essential.

As a HGV Driver based in Nottingham you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving 26t vehicles with a hiab doing multi-drop deliveries to our customers building sites
• Completing vehicle checks before starting deliveries
• Strapping down goods and ensuring the load is secure
• Loading and unloading the vehicles

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7.00am – 5.00pm – no weekend working!

• Previous HGV driving experience is essential
• A class 2 license along with a digital tacho card and completed CPC training is essential
• A hiab license is essential
• Ability to operate a crane
