Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited, through Burdens, is looking for an HGV Driver in Nottingham to perform multi-drop deliveries to building sites. The role runs Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with no weekend work and a generous benefits package.

You will drive 26t vehicles with a hiab, complete vehicle checks, load and secure goods, and ensure safe delivery. Prior HGV experience, a class 2 license, digital tachograph card, CPC training and a hiab license are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous HGV driving experience is essential.
• A class 2 license along with a digital tachograph card and CPC training is essential.
• A Hiab license is essential.
• Ability to operate a crane.
• Merchant experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Driving 26t vehicles with a hiab doing multi-drop deliveries to our customers building sites.
• Completing vehicle checks before starting deliveries.
• Strapping down goods and ensuring the load is secure.
• Loading and unloading the vehicles.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7.00am - 5.00pm - no weekend working!
