Job summary

Burdens, part of the Wolseley Group, seeks a Delivery Driver 18T-23T with HIAB in Newmains ML2 9BG. Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely, deliver and collect civils materials, and build excellent customer relationships while upholding health and safety standards.

45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This full-time role offers £34,500 plus bonus and benefits, including a pension, healthcare, discounts and cycle-to-work.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 2 driving licence with HIAB experience.
• CPC card and digital tachograph experience.
• Ability to use handheld devices for job tasks.
• Commitment to health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB safely and efficiently.
• Deliver and collect materials in civils sector.
• Build strong customer relationships and represent the business to high standards.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and perform daily vehicle/load checks.

Key Responsibilities

• The safe and efficient driving of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB.
• Delivering and collecting materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.
• Building excellent relationships with customers and representing the business to the very highest of standards.
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday.
