Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver (3.5t) in Dumbarton for 20 hours per week. You will deliver plumbing and heating supplies, build customer relationships, and help with warehouse tasks. The role requires a full clean UK driving licence and a willingness to be a team player.

Qualifications

• A full clean UK Driving Licence.
• Multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential.
• Willing to assist in all areas to ensure smooth branch operation.

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure safety.
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling.
• Support with warehouse duties when back from deliveries, including stock checks.

Salary: £13,347 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Part Time Delivery Driver 3.5t - Dumbarton - Plumb Centre - 20 hours

Our branches are open Monday to Saturday (Sat. mornings only). This vacancy is for 20 hours (4 hrs/day), Mornings. Working pattern will be discussed at interview stage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area
• Build strong relationships with our customers
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure everything is safe and ready to go
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling
• Support with warehouse duties when you’re back from deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders and carrying out stock checks

Qualifications

• Must be over the age of 18
• A full clean UK Driving Licence
• Previous multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential
• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
