Job summary

DHL is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to ensure efficient operations while delivering canteen supplies, including ambient, chilled, and frozen food, to prisons. You will engage in manual handling and regular driving, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. If you hold an HGV Class 2 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification, and can provide a three-year UK address history, apply now!

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C).
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• 12 months recent driving experience of HGV vehicle is essential.

We're now looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• You will delivering canteen supplies, ambient, chilled and frozen food into the prison services which is palletised.
• Pushing and Pulling dollies up to 200kg
• There will be around 3 to 4 drops per day.
• depending on which route you are allocated.
• MANUAL HANDLING WILL BE REQUIRED.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
  Can provide three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
• Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
• Are able to work in a role that requires manual handling and regular heavy lifting
• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Will have 12 months recent driving experience of HGV vehicle is essential
