Job summary

Join DHL Supply Chain in Manchester for a Class 1 Driver role on a permanent full-time basis. The position operates 4 on, 4 off with start times between 02:00am and 08:00am on site at M17 1TD, offering trunking work, trailer swaps and safe driving responsibilities.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E), Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph, plus at least 12 months recent Class 1 experience. Nights out are expected, roughly two per month, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must have at least 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience.
• Are comfortable with nights out - on average 2 per month.

Responsibilities

• Curtain sider work and swapping trailers required.
• Trunking stock to RDC's with collections back to site, manual handling and use of internal strapping.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
