Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Doncaster is seeking a permanent, full-time Class 1 driver to join our busy network. You will work 48 hours per week from Tuesday to Saturday, with start times between 16:00 and 22:00, delivering goods safely and on time from Doncaster DN3 3FF.

Key requirements include a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and at least 12 months of recent Class 1 experience, including rigid + trailer operation.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC.
• possess a Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience driving rigid + trailer combinations.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and pick up of demountable boxes to outbases within the network.
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with regulations and hours rules.
• Comply with health and safety standards and Highway Code.
• Carry out vehicle checks as part of routine duties.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• - Delivery and pick up of demountable boxes (wagon & drag) to outbases within the network
• - Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• - Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• - Regular completion of vehicle checks

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• - Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• - Have a minimum of 12 months' recent HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• - Experience driving rigid + trailer combinations.
