DHL Supply Chain is seeking Class 1 HGV Drivers for a permanent full-time role at Manton Wood (S80 3EG). The position offers a £38,064.00 annual pay with night out payments of £25 per night. Typical duties include delivering pallets to warehouses, securing loads, and driving under Hours and Working Time regulations.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence (C+E), Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card. Newly qualified drivers are welcomed and will be assessed.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E) with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Newly qualified drivers are accepted and will undergo a driving assessment.
• Able to handle manual handling tasks including strapping/securing loads and occasional pallet truck use.

Responsabilités

• Deliver palletised goods to warehouses and RDCs (1–3 drops per day).
• Strap and secure loads, use manual pallet truck when required.
• Drive safely and legally in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Comply with health and safety standards and road regulations.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday Tramping (4 nights out), available start times between 00:00 and 12:00, based on the driver's preferred start time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivering palletised goods to warehouses and RDC's - between 1 and 3 drops per day
• Strapping and securing the load, occasional tipping through use of manual pallet truck
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
