Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL Group in Daventry is recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver to help keep our operations running smoothly, delivering goods safely and on time.

You will drive in line with Drivers' Hours regulations, perform vehicle checks, and handle goods, with 50 hour shifts possible and overtime at 1.5x.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience.
• Previous experience with curtain side on HGVs.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and the Highway Code.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.

Pay Rate: £45,899.57 plus overtime 1.5 after 50 hours
Grade: CA
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Sun - Thur or Tue - Sat 50 hour contract and it will be as late as possible starts 20:00 onwards
Location: Daventry (Crick Side)
