Metro Rod Ltd. in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced HGV Tanker Driver (HGV Class 2) to operate our Bucher Flexline/Cityflex tanker unit, performing cleaning, clearance and maintenance of drainage systems while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers £16-20 per hour with overtime available for 45+ hours per week; candidates should hold a full UK driving licence and HGV Class 2, be flexible with hours, and be ready to work within a defined franchised territory across West

Qualifications

• Experienced HGV Class 2 driver with drainage or tanker exposure preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• IT literacy including smartphone technology andApps.

Responsibilities

• Operate Bucher Flexline/Cityflex tanker unit for drainage services.
• Carry out cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance on drainage systems.
• Deliver high-standard customer service and technical workmanship.
• Work predominantly on pre-planned maintenance with some reactive work.

What’s involved?

Operating our Bucher Flexline/Cityflex Tanker unit, you will carry out a range of services associated with the tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drainage systems, whilst delivering an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise. Predominantly you will be carrying our pre-planned maintenance works and in some cases emergency reactive work.

Th ideal candidate would be someone who has prior experience working for a water board using a Cityflex tanker.

The Person…

• An experienced HGV Driver Class 2 and with sector experience in drainage
• Ideally experience driving a Bucher Flexline/Cityflex Tanker
• Strong communication skills
• IT Literacy including smart phone technology
• CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Spaces and associated cards (preferred)
• A positive, flexible, can-do attitude
• Want to be part of an exciting, growing, and progressive business with an increasingly formidable brand presence
• Be willing to work occasional/unsociable hours, weekends/nights
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• HGV Class 2 driving license
• Team player
