Job summary

Metro Rod West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced drainage repairs engineer. You will carry out drainage repair works across customer sites in the West Yorkshire area, using hands-on practical skills and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

You will need a full clean driving license and be comfortable with local travel. The role offers hourly pay of £17.00 plus paid driving time and overtime at 1.25x the hourly rate, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on drainage repair experience with safe workmanship.
• Willingness to work across West Yorkshire on customer sites.
• Full clean driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Install localised structural repairs (LSRs/patch liners).
• Reconfigure manhole layouts and replace covers and frames.
• Repair or replace ACO drainage channels and gullies.
• Complete post-repair CCTV surveys.
• Carry out hand excavations up to 1 metre deep.

The role:

You’ll carry out a range of drainage repair works, including:

• Installing localised structural repairs (LSRs/patch liners).

You’ll take pride in working safely, looking after customer sites and representing Metro Rod professionally.

You will need a full clean driving license and will cover the West Yorkshire area.
