Job summary

Metro Rod West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Drainage Repairs Engineer to carry out drainage repair works across customer sites in the West Yorkshire region. The role includes installing localised repairs, reconfiguring manhole components, and performing CCTV checks after repairs.

You will work on a range of sites, require a full driving licence, and will benefit from paid driving time and overtime at 1.25x. Training and development are available as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with drainage repairs listed in the role.
• Commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to cover the West Yorkshire area.

Responsibilities

• Install localised structural repairs (LSRs/patch liners).
• Reconfigure manhole channelling and replace covers/frames.
• Repair or replace ACO drainage channels and gullies.
• Perform post-repair CCTV surveys to verify quality.
• Carry out hand excavations up to 1 metre deep.

Salary: £17.00 per hour + paid driving time + overtime at 1.25 times the hourly rate

The role

You’ll carry out a range of drainage repair works, including:

• Installing localised structural repairs (LSRs/patch liners).

• Completing post-repair CCTV surveys to check the quality of completed works.
• Carrying out hand excavations up to 1 metre deep.

You’ll take pride in working safely, looking after customer sites and representing Metro Rod professionally.
