Quest Employment in Banbury is seeking a Drainage Operative to join a busy drainage team. You’ll assist with drainage maintenance, clearance, and repair works on domestic and commercial sites, working outdoors in all weather conditions and supporting engineers.

The role is hands-on, outdoors, with jetting and CCTV survey work, and full training provided. Weekly pay, early progression prospects, and a supportive local company are offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential for certain positions.
• Experience in drainage, groundworks or similar field is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive drainage works including unblocking, cleaning, and repairing drains.
• Operate jetting machinery and CCTV cameras to investigate drainage systems.
• Assist with installations and maintenance as directed by supervisors.
• Complete job sheets and documentation accurately.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and used safely.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Job Title: Drainage Operative
Location: Banbury and surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £12.21 – increase once fully trained(post 12weeks)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional overtime available)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Drainage Operative to join a well-established drainage team. You’ll be responsible for assisting with a range of drainage maintenance, clearance, and repair works, supporting engineers on both domestic and commercial sites.

This is a hands-on role that involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, using jetting and CCTV survey equipment, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:
