Job summary

Interaction Recruitment has partnered with a nationwide infrastructure maintenance and sustainability company. They are seeking a Mobile Drainage Engineer to carry out reactive and planned drainage maintenance in domestic and commercial environments.

You’ll deliver emergency repair and maintenance services, use CCTV inspection and HPWJ techniques, and communicate with our 24/7 helpdesk via the company app. A full UK driving licence and 3+ years in drainage are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in the drainage industry.
• Strong background in internal and external drainage works.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Skilled in jetting, unblocking, CCTV operating or lining techniques.
• Confined Space and HPWJ qualifications preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned drainage maintenance within domestic and commercial environments.
• Deliver emergency repair and maintenance services as required.
• Communicate clearly with our 24/7 helpdesk team and update all job details via our company app.
• Use drainage and plumbing expertise to complete internal drainage, CCTV inspection work, and high-pressure water jetting to industry standards.
• Attend to callouts and ensure work is completed to agreed timeframes.

Job description

Mobile Drainage Engineer

Salary: £35,000-£37,000 per annum (Average OTE £50,000+)
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Hours: Monday–Friday 45 hours per week | 08.00-17.00 | (Weekend work + Callout available at enhanced)

Overtime: Available Monday to Friday and weekends (not required) paid at 1.5x

Callout rota: 1 in 2 paid at overtime rate + 15% commission of the job value
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
