Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Drainage Engineer for night shifts at Ryemeads, Home Counties, to deliver high‑quality drainage and wastewater solutions on the Thames Water contract. You will work 4 nights on/4 off, on a full‑time permanent basis, with 40.25 hours weekly and a salary of £38,000 per year plus overtime and allowances.

The role requires safe working practices, ability to travel to residential sites, operate high‑pressure jetting equipment, carry out diagnostics, repairs and report

Qualifications

• Experience with High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential.
• Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to residential sites in a HGV, around the Home Counties area powering a high pressure water jet for restoration.
• Clean / clear / repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
• Rodding blockages.
• Delivering good customer service.
• Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.

Salary: £38,000 per annum (made up of basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)

About The Role
