Job summary

FM Conway Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking motivated Drainage Operatives to join our Water and Drainage Management team. Working alongside an experienced HGV Driver as part of a two-person crew, you’ll learn specialist skills and work with industry-leading equipment on cycle gully maintenance projects.

You’ll be supported by ongoing training and have opportunities for progression, with health and safety at the core.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and a positive, reliable attitude.
• Previous drainage experience advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in HPWJ, Street Works or confined space work advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and acquire an HGV licence through our Apprenticeship Programme after successful probation.

• Assist with High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) and CCTV drainage surveys.
• Carry out drainage cleaning, investigations and planned maintenance.
• Respond to emergency and reactive drainage callouts.
• Operate our GIS Trimble system in line with company procedures.
• Work safely as part of a close-knit team using specialist vehicles and equipment.

The role involves cyclical gully maintenance and the opportunity to earn performance-related bonuses on eligible cyclic gully cleaning contracts, rewarding high-quality work and productivity.
