Job summary

Verity Healthcare Limited is seeking a Domiciliary Care Coordinator to join our Peterborough team. You will manage staff rotas, liaise with service users and care workers, and ensure care is delivered safely and in line with CQC standards.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering £28,000-£34,000 per annum, with opportunities for training and career progression within a growing domiciliary care provider.

Qualifications

• Experience in domiciliary care essential.
• Experience coordinating care rotas is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills and experience with scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage staff rotas using scheduling systems.
• Allocate care workers to service users based on needs and location.
• Coordinate care across Peterborough and surrounding areas.
• Respond to staff absences and arrange emergency cover.
• Liaise with service users, families and staff daily.
• Monitor care delivery to maintain high standards.
• Update care plans and maintain accurate records.
• Support the Care Manager with compliance and CQC requirements.
• Conduct spot checks, supervisions, and field support as needed.
• Handle incoming calls and concerns professionally.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and availability.
• Ensure continuity of care for all service users.
• Support the wider team with day-to-day branch operations.
