Job summary

Verity Healthcare Limited is seeking a Domiciliary Care Coordinator to manage a caseload of children, young people and adults across Gloucestershire. The role is office-based, focusing on rotas, coordination, and ensuring safe, high-quality care in line with CQC standards.

You will liaise with service users and care workers, update care plans, and support the Care Manager, contributing to compassionate, person-centred care within a growing team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a domiciliary care setting (essential).
  • Experience in care coordination or scheduling (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and care standards.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
  • Good IT skills and experience with care management systems.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage staff rotas using care scheduling systems.
  • Allocate care workers to service users based on needs and location.
  • Respond to staff absences and arrange emergency cover.
  • Liaise with service users, families and staff daily.
  • Monitor care delivery to maintain high standards.
  • Update care plans and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the Care Manager with compliance and CQC requirements.
  • Conduct spot checks and field support when required.
  • Handle incoming calls and queries professionally.
  • Ensure continuity of care for all service users.

We work closely with local authorities, the NHS, CCGs, private hospitals, and private clients to help people maintain independence and dignity within their own homes.Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised, compassionate, and proactivecare coordinatorto join our team.

The Role

As a Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of care services. You will be responsible for coordinating care staff rotas, liaising with service users and care workers, and ensuring care is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with CQC standards. This is a fast-paced, office-based role that requires excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
