Job summary

Purosearch Ltd. is seeking a Domiciliary Care Manager for the Dawlish/Newton Abbot area. The role focuses on leading and developing a home care service, delivering high-quality care and maintaining client independence in their own homes.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on domiciliary care leadership experience, QCF Level 5 or equivalent, and a driving licence. You will drive service quality, staff management, and regulatory compliance across the Devon region.

Qualifications

• Experience leading domiciliary care services.
• Currently a Deputy Care Manager or Care Manager in domiciliary care.
• QCF Level 5 or above or equivalent.
• RMA/LMCS or NVQ Level 4 qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own car.
• Knowledge of CQC Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa transfer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe service delivery in line with legislation and policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through training and development.
• Keep accurate records and prepare required reports.
• Promote customer rights and focus on customer wishes.
• Complete full needs and risk assessments before services begin.
• Protect client information and maintain confidentiality.
• Ensure sufficient qualified staff are allocated to meet service needs; manage absences and staff issues.
• Handle complaints, investigate service quality, and implement improvements.
• Manage emergency on-call issues effectively.

Are you currently a Care Manager or Branch Manager with experience in domiciliary care? We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, passionate, and dynamic domiciliary Registered Care Manager to join a developing home care service across Dawlish and Newton Abbot.

Essential Requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience within domiciliary care
• Currently working as a Deputy Care Manager or Care Manager in domiciliary care
• Already have or working towards QCF Level 5
• Qualified with RMA/LMCS or NVQ L4
• Hold a full UK driving licence with access to your own car
• Knowledgeable of CQC Essential Standards of Quality and Safety
• Right to work in the UK without requiring spοnsοrship or vіsa transfer
• Currently living in the Exmouth area
