Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor in Stoke-on-Trent to lead a cleaning team, ensuring high hygiene standards across patient areas and wards. Your leadership will support a safe, welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.

You will plan daily tasks, train staff and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, working a 37.5-hour week on a rotating shift pattern with 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 shifts. This role offers benefits and development opportunities.

• Ensure patient rooms, communal areas, restrooms and wards meet high hygiene standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees across the facility.
• Adhere to all health & safety procedures including COSHH and fire safety.
• Support onboarding, training and development of cleaning staff.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure patient rooms, communal areas, restrooms, and hospital wards are kept to the highest hygiene standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees across the facility.
• Adhere to all company, client, and legal health & safety procedures, including COSHH, hygiene, cleanliness, and fire safety .
• Support onboarding, training, and development of cleaning staff to build a high-performing team.
