Job summary

Mark May is seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer to join our housing maintenance team in Oldbury. You will service, repair and support gas systems, ensuring safety, compliance and high workmanship across our residents’ homes.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, gas safety checks, servicing, and completing PDA documentation, while delivering excellent customer care and managing your workload to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Relevant gas qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 are required.
• Experience in domestic gas repairs, servicing and maintenance is preferred.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and reactive gas repairs and diagnose faults.
• Maintain a high first-time fix rate while meeting safety standards.
• Carry out gas safety checks, servicing and compliance inspections.
• Support void property works to ensure safe re-let readiness.
• Complete remedial works and system upgrades as required.
• Accurately complete PDA job sheets and documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service in residents' homes.
• Manage workload independently to meet targets.
