Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our team in the Birmingham area. You will service, diagnose and repair gas systems and appliances for social housing clients, ensuring safety standards are met.

The role offers permanent employment, a local working radius, and extensive overtime opportunities with a competitive package including a company van and stock, plus 25 days’ annual leave and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the social housing sector
• Knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Core gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
• Full UK driving license and DBS clearance

Responsibilities

• Service, Diagnose, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems meet safety standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects

We are currently seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our team on a PAYE basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing gas systems and appliances for our clients .
