Job summary

CCS seeks an experienced Domestic Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer to join our social housing service team. You will ensure safe, efficient gas systems in client properties, with opportunities for development and competitive pay.

Key duties include servicing, breakdown response, repairs, and clear resident communication, using PDA for updates and parts ordering. Must hold Gas Safe qualifications and a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe certs CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1.
• C&G Energy efficiency qualification.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding skills and competence in using mobile PDA technology.
• Punctuality, professionalism, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance of gas appliances and systems, following industry standards.
• Attend to gas breakdowns, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.
• Execute necessary repairs to ensure reliable gas installations.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, including service reports and parts usage.
• Provide excellent customer service, effectively communicating with residents.
