Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to service and repair domestic heating and hot water systems on social housing projects in Manchester and the surrounding areas. You will work on breakdowns, services and safety checks.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, ensure efficient operation, and deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service to tenants and clients on every visit.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving license.
• Experience in a domestic gas maintenance role.
• Gas qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.

Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to work on domestic properties completing breakdown, service and repair works on domestic heating and hot water systems on social housing projects in Manchester and the surrounding areas.

The successful Gas Engineer will be responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes. You’ll diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out planned maintenance, and provide a high standard of workmanship while delivering excellent customer service at every visit.

Qualifications and documents needed for the role:

• Valid UK Driving license
• Valid Gas Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1)
• Experience in a domestic gas maintenance role

The basic salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience and the OTE is around £45,000 per annum.
