South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a Domestic Assistant at Eastridge Manor in Bolney, Nr Haywards Heath. The role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety across the home, including resident rooms and communal areas.

The position offers an hourly rate of £12.76 on weekdays and £13.40 on weekends, with access to pay as you earn, a free uniform and DBS, pension, EAP, and ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic or care environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home at all times.
• To clean residents’ rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff have completed their patient care. To check flowers and plants and water/dispose of as necessary.
• To clean communal areas including mopping, vacuuming, dusting.
• Ensuring the home is safe e.g., removing clutter, keeping storage areas tidy.
• Shampoo carpets as and when needed.

An opportunity has arisen within the South Coast Nursing Homes group for a Domestic Assistant at Eastridge Manor in Bolney, Nr Haywards Heath.

14 hrs - can be flexible on start and end times

Week 1: Thursday & Friday

Week 2: Friday & Saturday

40 hrs: Rota TBC

The purpose of this role is to keep the home clean and safe, providing a superior
service to our residents

• To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the
  home at all times.
• To clean residents’ rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff have
  completed their patient care. To check flowers and plants and
  water/dispose of as necessary.
• To clean communal area’s including mopping, vacuuming, dusting
