South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a Domestic Assistant at Eastridge Manor, Bolney, Nr Haywards Heath. You will help keep the home clean and safe, ensuring high hygiene standards and a pleasant environment for residents.

The role covers cleaning residents' rooms, communal areas, and supporting a well-organised, safe living space. Hours are 32 per week with a flexible rota, and benefits include DBS, pension, and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home at all times.
• To clean residents’ rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff have completed their patient care.
• To clean communal areas including mopping, vacuuming, dusting.
• Ensuring the home is safe e.g., removing clutter, keeping storage areas tidy.
• Shampoo carpets as and when needed.

An opportunity has arisen within the South Coast Nursing Homes group for a Domestic Assistant at Eastridge Manor in Bolney, Nr Haywards Heath.

Hours: 32 hrs per week

Rota pattern:

• 14 hrs - can be flexible on start and end times
• Week 1: Thursday & Friday
• Week 2: Friday & Saturday
• 32 hrs:
• Wk 1 - Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sun all 7am-3pm
• Wk 2 - Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sun all 7am-3pm

The purpose of this role is to keep the home clean and safe, providing a superior
service to our residents

• To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home at all times.
• To clean residents’ rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff have completed their patient care. To check flowers and plants and water/dispose of as necessary.
• To clean communal area’s including mopping, vacuuming, dusting
• Ensuring the home is safe eg, removing clutter, keeping storage area’s tidy
• Shampoo carpets as and when needed.
