South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking two Care Assistants (full-time and part-time) to join Abundant Grace, our dementia care home in Seaford. Hours available: 24 or 36 per week during day shifts.

You will provide high-quality personal care, promote independence, assist with meals, and document care interactions. We value a caring, energetic team player who is passionate about resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Ideally some healthcare experience, training provided on the job.
• Kind and caring with a positive approach.
• Energetic and hard-working; eager to deliver great resident care.
• Able to work well in a team and support residents’ independence.

Responsabilités

• Providing high quality personal care and social interaction to residents.
• Promoting independence and enablement and supporting residents as needed.
• Entering residents’ personalised interactions on the system.
• Serving meals and promoting social dining experiences.
• Building relationships with relatives to understand residents’ needs.

We are looking for two Care Assistants (full-time and part-time) to join our team on Days at Abundant Grace, our luxurious Dementia Nursing Home, in Seaford.

Hours: 24 hrs or 36 hrs per week

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More about you:

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
• Kind and caring with a positive approach;
