Service Location: Beeston, Nottingham. NG9

Salary: £11.44 Per Hour

Who we are

We are Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with mental health needs, and people with learning disabilities.

About our service

Our service is a Registered Residential care home situated in a residential street in the Beeston area of Nottingham. There are two units on the site: one with 14 beds and a smaller unit with 6 beds, where you would be working between both units. The homes offer ideal living environments for adults with a learning or physical disability, meeting their personal care needs while supporting independent living and the development of life skills.

The home offers specialist 24 hour residential and nursing care for people who have extensive and complex support needs, including those with a sensory impairment.

The Role

We are looking for a Domestic Assistant/Cleaner to join our passionate and supportive team. You will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care homes, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times. You’ll carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines including dusting, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, and laundry duties.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that all areas, including communal areas such as dining rooms, lounges, and lavatories, are kept to a high standard and comply with infection control guidelines. This role is varied, so no two days will be the same! All employees of Ambient Support have the responsibility to comply with the company’s Infection Prevention and Control policies and procedures at all times.

You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications; all you need for this rewarding role is the will to make an impact by treating our residents with compassion and dignity.
