Job summary

Valley House is seeking an Domestic Abuse Practitioner to work full time across our supported accommodation services. You will carry a caseload, deliver 1-to-1 and group support, and assist service users with resettlement into their own accommodation.

You will act as lead for an underrepresented group and ensure safeguarding adherence in all activities. The role involves working at Valley House premises and/or properties, with on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with individuals and families in a supported accommodation setting.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and risk assessment processes.
• Ability to deliver group work and 1-to-1 support.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of service users in supported accommodation.
• Provide resettlement support for moving to own accommodation.
• Deliver structured group work and peer support sessions.
• Complete all required paperwork including risk assessments and support plans.
