Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Document Controller to support the Heathrow Airport project, delivering accurate administration of all project documentation and ensuring distribution in line with client requirements.

You will work with project teams, subcontractors and designers, and you will need GCSEs including English and Maths, plus experience with document control systems such as Asite or Autodesk. This is a fixed-term 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE/O-Level standard including English and Maths.
• Previous secretarial and/or administrative experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills including written English.
• Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, E-mail and Internet.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Experience in Document control system e.g. Asite, AutoDesk, or similar systems.
• Time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and control of all project documentation.
• Distribute and administer documents to project teams, subcontractors, designers and client representatives.
• Ensure project information is managed in line with company and client requirements.
