Job Description

Kanadevia Inova are hiring a Document Controller for a fixed-term-contract of 24 months. You would join our project team on our construction site in Bloxwich, Walsall. This position is primarily site based.

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams, projects, or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
  • Allocate and control the document numbering system for the project work, working with precision to ensure that all electronic and hard copy filing is accurate and is easily retrievable
  • Respond in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information, information searches and general requests for support from project/department personnel
  • Administration of PIRS document system
  • Establish, develop, and manage effective documentation systems and procedures and maintain relevant manuals / systems

Qualifications

  • Information Management or similar qualification desirable
  • Must have experience with Document Control Systems, ideally PIRS or equivalent
  • Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROI), CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent (desirable)
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Solution orientated, forward planner, strong communicator
