Description and Requirements

We are looking for a Document Controller to join our Building Services team at Royal Derby Hospital.

As a Document Controller, you will oversee and manage the control, coordination, processing, and archiving of all compliance documentation and supporting information for all works conducted at Virtus to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

What you'll do:
  • Control and distribute documentation & data in accordance with project requirements.
  • Liaise between the Project team, Design team, trade contractors, and external parties on document management issues.
  • Maintain the document management system, updating and modifying master data and system setup as needed.
  • Manage and advise on day-to-day document control across the contract in various mediums.
  • Oversee and facilitate the archiving of information in accordance with legislation and contractual requirements.
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of document control systems.
  • Experience in administrative roles, including diary and calendar management.
  • Experience working with multi-faceted teams.
