The role involves implementing document management strategies, ensuring deliverables meet schedules and budgets, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have experience in the process plant industry and knowledge of EDMS systems.

Our globally leading client is seeking an experienced Document Controller based onsite in Leatherhead for an initial 12-month contract.
A global leading engineering and construction company with a long legacy rooted in major infrastructure and defence projects. Originally known for large-scale oil and gas developments, it has diversified into government services, aerospace, and sustainability solutions.
Implements and executes the Document Management strategy and plan in support of the scope of work and specific project needs and goals. Responsible for the success of Document Management activities and deliverables, ensuring they meet schedules, milestones, and budgets. Manages Document Management supply chain activities to deliver cost-effective services aligned with the scope. Communicates effectively with Project Management & Team, Client, and Sub-Contractors to resolve documentation, information, and data issues. Proficient in engineering document distribution management, supplier document distribution, and developing project document reports and statistics. Works within an integrated, multi-location Document Management team.
Experience in the process plant industry Document Management or related fields. Knowledge of EDMS systems & Electronic Document Imaging Technology (Documentum/IPMS advantageous) and computer technology. Knowledge of SharePoint and Information Management systems is a plus. Familiarity with process plant documentation. Good communication and motivational skills. Experience in developing procedures and work processes. Awareness of Regulatory Authorities requirements.
