Contract Scotland is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a busy civil engineering contractor handling project information across the full lifecycle. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors and consultants to ensure controlled, accurate distribution of documents.
The role covers document control, QA support and the handover/O&M documentation management, with regular audits and proactive liaison to keep information current.

This is a varied role with involvement across document control, QA support and the management of handover and O&M documentation.
As Document Controller, you ll be responsible for maintaining effective document management processes across one or more civil engineering projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
You ll ideally have previous experience working in Document Control, preferably within civil engineering, construction or another project-based environment.
You may have experience with:
You ll be organised, proactive and confident communicating with a range of stakeholders. You ll also be comfortable working independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider project team.
An understanding of civil engineering project documentation, QA requirements and handover processes would be advantageous.
