Job description

Job title: Document Controller
Job type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 18 months
Pay rate: £15.53 PAYE / £20.96 Umbrella
Location: Bridgwater
Hours of work: 7:25 - 17:00 Monday-Thursday

Applicants must possess the following:

  1. A level qualification or equivalent
  2. ICT literate
  3. Experience providing a variety of administrative duties
  4. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  5. Experience with minute taking
  6. Strong verbal/written communication skills

Ideally applicants should also have:

  1. Experience working in a relevant technical function

Role information:

  1. Act as a focal point for information distributed across site
  2. Maintain databases and filing and retrieval systems
  3. Solve problems as they arise
  4. Identify issues with document quality and highlight these issues appropriately
  5. Liaise with different departments to ensure the efficient handling and processing of documents
  6. Train others in the use of document creation, editing and navigation of the management system
  7. Provide general admin support where required
