Job summary

Langdons is seeking a Dock Office Administrator to join our Bridgwater team. This full-time, permanent role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30, with a highly competitive salary and excellent company benefits.

You will work with transport and warehouse colleagues to ensure deliveries are handled correctly, records are maintained, and customer queries are resolved promptly. Langdons offers career development and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge and application of health and safety procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• IT literate in Microsoft Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Act as key point of contact for despatch and receipt of customer goods.
• Coordinate all incoming driver documents and update all relevant electronic and manual records.
• Respond to customer queries, ensuring any discrepancies are recorded, investigated and resolved.
• Update relevant records and brief colleagues on stock movement progress.
• Conduct regular and ad hoc stock checks, escalating any issues to management in a timely manner.
• Advise and guide other colleagues where required.
• Provide cover for the Customer Service and Transport Teams where required.

Here at Langdons, we have an amazing opportunity for a Dock Office Administrator to join the team based in Bridgwater. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30 and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £29,287.95 per annum plus excellent company benefits!

The Dock Office Administrator role:

This is a fantastic role to really get your teeth into! Your role will be to work in partnership with transport and warehouse colleagues to ensure that incoming and outgoing deliveries are handled and stored correctly and that all relevant records are created and maintained.
