Job summary

The University Of Manchester is seeking a Divisional Administrator in the School of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health. The role supports divisional operations across Oxford Road campus and Wythenshawe Hospital, enabling smooth academic and operational activity within an inclusive environment.

You will liaise with NHS and UoM teams, manage multiple priorities, and assist in People, Finance and Estates processes. A diverse range of background is welcomed.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience providing effective administrative support and excellent customer service to senior staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact and deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders.
• Liaise with NHS and UoM teams to resolve requests and queries.
• Support Senior Administrator in People, Finance and Estates processes.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines to ensure timely operations.
• Maintain data on electronic systems related to academic activities.
