Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join the District Nursing Service in Morpeth, Northumberland. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver programmes of health and social care.
• Provide care and support to patients with a terminal illness and their families.
• Perform skilled district nursing care including wound management, palliative care and catheterisation.
• Carry out clinical procedures and diagnostic assessments as part of community care.
• Communicate results to patients and carers and discuss care plans.
