Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a District Nursing Deputy Team Lead to support the Community Nursing Team in South-East Central Northumberland. The role involves leadership, coordination of care packages, and acting as a role model for compassionate service, in line with NMC standards.

You will work 37.5 hours weekly, with early and late shifts, cover across 8am–8pm seven days, and weekends/bank holidays, ensuring safe high-quality patient care and development of staff

Qualificações

• Registered General Nurse with UK registration and current professional practice.
• Experience leading a District Nursing/Community team with governance focus.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring and quality improvement in community settings.
• Knowledge of community nursing policies, patient safety and care planning.
• Appropriate driving license and ability to use a vehicle for work purposes.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate packages of care for patients on caseload.
• Delegate responsibilities and provide leadership to inspire high performance.
• Lead and supervise Community Nurse Teams and support professional development reviews.
• Foster communication with patients, carers, GPs and allied professionals.
