Job summary

FTSE Russell, an LSEG business, is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist to develop our Distribution business across the UK and EMEA. You will identify and close data licensing and subscription opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and collaborate with Product, Data, Technology, Legal and Finance teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial-data sales, business development or related commercial role.
• Experience with market-data vendors, investment platforms or distribution channels.
• Strong track record of developing and closing commercial opportunities.
• Understanding of financial markets and institutional or retail investment workflows.
• Knowledge of data licensing, usage rights and redistribution or enterprise data agreements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the sales strategy for Distribution clients across the UK and support the broader EMEA region.
• Map and prioritise opportunities across market-data distributors, wealth/investment platforms, digital brokers and data-enabled channels.
• Originate, qualify and close data licensing and subscription opportunities.
• Expand existing client relationships across datasets, applications, user groups and geographies.
• Build relationships with senior commercial, product, data, technology and licensing stakeholders.
• Lead client discovery, proposal development, and contracting negotiations.
• Maintain a high-quality sales pipeline, accurate forecasts and CRM records.
