Job summary

Breedon Group plc is seeking a Distribution Coordinator for the Customer Service and Distribution function at the Durham Gate Office. You will ensure on-time, in-full delivery by aligning production, transport and customer expectations with Breedon’s processes.

The role emphasizes proactive planning, data integrity, and strong customer communication to maintain high service levels and optimise EBIT. A multi-team, fast-paced environment awaits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility of production and transport availability to influence distribution plan development.
• Capture and place customer orders in line with quotations and ensure data accuracy in Breedon’s systems.
• Build and optimise a distribution plan to meet customer needs in collaboration with Commercial, Operations and Transport teams.
• Plan driver rest times and ensure adherence to H&S policy.
• Contact customers on the day prior to delivery to confirm orders and schedule.
• Adapt to changes in the plan due to customer or production issues and minimise impact.
