Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients in Droitwich is seeking a Distribution Operative L2 for the AM shift to pack, handle and dispatch products safely within a chilled environment. You will join our Operations & Production team, contribute to quality, hygiene and on-time distribution, and support continuous improvement with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Full training provided, with strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and adherence to site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manually pack products into trolleys and report non-conformances.
• Transport full and empty trolleys within the chill operation.
• Operate equipment safely and perform asset care and deep-cleaning.
• Maintain high hygiene, food safety and health & safety standards.
• Support effective shift handovers for continuity.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Operate trolley wash and ensure adequate trolley supply.
• Lead by example in safety and technical standards.
• Collaborate with Coordinators and Team Leaders to meet needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvements across the department.

Shift: AM (4 on 4 off -07:00 - 19:00)

We are looking for a committed and motivated Dispatch Operative to join our team at Droitwich Dairy within Müller Milk & Ingredients.

As a Dispatch Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products are safely handled, accurately packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and safety. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to continuous improvement in line with Müller values.

Please note: This role is based within a chilled environment. Full PPE, including a high-visibility coat, is provided.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manually pack products into trolleys, ensuring all products meet quality standards and reporting any non-conformances.
• Transport full and empty trolleys throughout the chill operation.
• Operate equipment safely and complete asset care and deep-cleaning activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, food safety, and health & safety throughout your shift.
• Support effective shift handovers to ensure operational continuity.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Operate the trolley wash and maintain an adequate supply of trolleys for production fillers.
• Lead by example in promoting behavioural safety and technical standards.
• Work collaboratively with Coordinators and Team Leaders to support operational requirements.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements across the department.
