Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking a Dispatch Operative to ensure products are safely handled, packed, and dispatched efficiently while upholding high quality, hygiene, and safety standards.

You will pack products into trolleys, move them around the chill area, operate equipment safely, and support shift handovers while maintaining documentation and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous manual packing experience is desirable but training will be provided.
• Strong teamwork, good communication, and willingness to learn.
• Flexible approach to changing production plans.
• A strong sense of accountability and ownership for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manually pack products into trolleys meeting quality standards.
• Transport full and empty trolleys throughout the chill operation.
• Operate equipment safely and perform asset care and deep-cleaning activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, food safety and health & safety.
• Support effective shift handovers to ensure operational continuity.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Operate the trolley wash and maintain an adequate supply of trolleys for production fillers.
• Lead by example in promoting behavioural safety and technical standards.
• Work collaboratively with Coordinators and Team Leaders to support operational requirements.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements across the department.

As a Dispatch Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products are safely handled, accurately packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and safety. • Manually pack products into trolleys, ensuring all products meet quality standards and reporting any non-conformances.
• Transport full and empty trolleys throughout the chill operation.
• Operate equipment safely and complete asset care and deep-cleaning activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, food safety, and health & safety throughout your shift.
• Support effective shift handovers to ensure operational continuity.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
