Huws Gray Sudbury is seeking a Distribution Operations Supervisor to help run the branch day-to-day, delivering outstanding service to customers and supporting a high-performing team.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will oversee loading/unloading, delivery scheduling, stock control, product knowledge, and a safe, organized workplace. We encourage flexible working where possible.

We're looking for an Distribution Operations Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the branch. What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll oversee the smooth operation of the branch while helping to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the day-to-day operational management of the branch
• Working closely with Branch Management to ensure effective branch performance
• Leading, motivating and supporting the team
• Providing outstanding customer service in every interaction
• Coordinating the loading and unloading of vehicles
• Supporting an efficient and effective delivery schedule
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control processes
• Developing and maintaining strong product knowledge
• Promoting and maintaining a safe, secure and organised working environment
• Identifying opportunities to improve operational performance and customer experience
• Sharing ideas and feedback with the management team to drive continuous improvement
